As with most puppy litters there's always a little guy.
The "V" litter, Baxter and Nikyta's puppies was no exception. One little
pup was getting thin because his six brothers would muscle him out of his share
of food. To remedy the situation we took the puppy home for a few days to
fatten him up a bit. Baxter was a good daddy and played nicely with the
pup who we named Stryker. Stryker was incredibly bright and learned at an
amazing pace. We would have loved to keep Stryker, however, having two
un-neutered males in a household isn't recommended.

After having a little experience playing with a big dog, Stryker
went back home and didn't let his littermates push him around any more. He
has since moved on to a nice family who loves him. They even kept his
name! |
