A few years back, after a career ending injury stopped my wife
from skydiving, she got into the Equestrian side of life. After riding for
some time on various "School-Horses" she decided to get more serious about the
sport and to get her own horse. Her horse's name is Tuesday and she is a
thoroughbred chestnut mare. Tuesday and Mari have both been advancing
their skills together for the past 2 years. This year (2006) Tuesday will be
attending her first horse shows.
In mid 2007 we sold Tuesday to a lovely new home. Because
of other commitments she wasn't being ridden as much as Mari would have liked
to. Mari will continue to ride and train at Wingberry Farms when she can
on their excellent horses. Tuesday brought a lot of joy to Mari and she
will be missed. Tuesday will have a lasting namesake in Mari's horse
cookie manufacturing company, Tuesday's Kitchen.
